u4gm Arc Raiders Top Perk Power Reduced

If you have spent any decent amount of time in Arc Raiders lately, you will know exactly why players have been talking non-stop about Unbreakable. For a while, it was the perk everyone swore by – the one thing that could flip a fight in your favour even when you were seconds from being wiped out. It was so strong it almost felt like cheating. The old Unbreakable kicked in the moment your shield broke, giving you five whole seconds of total immunity. You could eat a sniper round to the face or stroll straight through a hail of ARC Trooper fire without so much as a scratch. If you had it equipped, you could turn a bad fight around instantly, and if you were fighting against it… well, you probably know how frustrating that was. You’d land every shot, break their shield, and then watch them ghost through your bullets before coming back to finish you off. It changed the way fights played out and made it feel like skill didn’t matter as much as whether you had that perk. No wonder it became as common as ARC Raiders Items in most loadouts.
That all changed with the latest patch. Embark Studios clearly heard the complaints, because they have completely reworked Unbreakable. Gone is the full-on god mode. Now, when your shield breaks, you get a chunky 90% damage reduction for four seconds instead of being totally untouchable. It might sound like a small tweak, but it makes a huge difference. You can still tank a lot of damage, but a determined opponent can absolutely finish you off if they keep up the pressure. No more free escapes or easy counter-kills. This change forces players to actually think about their positioning and timing instead of relying on an invincible window to bail them out.
The interesting thing is how this shift changes the meta. Before, Unbreakable wasn’t just strong – it was practically mandatory. If you didn’t have it, you were at a clear disadvantage. Now, it’s still a solid defensive option, but it’s not the “I win” button anymore. You might decide to take something that boosts your mobility, or maybe a perk that gives you more offensive punch. Suddenly, there’s room for different playstyles to shine. That’s the kind of variety that keeps a game fresh and competitive over the long haul.
From a player’s perspective, this is a good thing. Fights feel fairer. If you manage to break someone’s shield, you still have a chance to finish the job. It rewards accuracy and persistence, and it makes clutch plays more about skill than perk exploitation. Sure, some folks will miss the old safety net, but the game as a whole benefits from perks being balanced instead of broken. And if you are looking to tweak your build after the patch, you might find yourself browsing for new gear just like you would for ARC Raiders Items buy.
